About the Department

Welcome to the Department of Graphic Design Technology at Takoradi Technical University.

For 30 years, we have been at the forefront of design education, nurturing creative thinkers and innovators who shape industries and communities through visual storytelling.

Founded in 1996, the department has grown from a small program into a vibrant hub of design excellence.

Over the decades, we have hosted exhibitions, produced award-winning alumni, and contributed to Ghana’s creative economy. Our 30th Anniversary marks a milestone of resilience, innovation, and impact.
